  • SERVICE

    • Thanksgiving Food Drive - This drive will support the National Honor Society at St. Joseph’s Preparatory High School as well as Common Care, a Boston-based organization that provides a food pantry and community meals to those in need in the Boston area. The donations collected will be split 50/50 between the two organizations.  Please bring non-perishable Thanksgiving-related food items such as canned vegetables, cranberry jelly, boxed stuffing, dessert mixes, juice, etc with you.

    • Letters 4 Hope - is an organization that facilitates the giving of cards and messages to children and adults who are sick or in need. Stop by this service to write a message of hope or make a decorative card that will be sure to brighten someone's day!

    • Boston Bruins Foundation 50/50 Raffle - You will be selling 50/50 Raffle tickets at the Bruins game to raise money for the Boston Bruins Foundation. Volunteers are expected to bring their "A" game to sell as many tickets as possible, since it's all about raising money for charity! After the second intermission, you will be allowed to stay and watch the end of the game! The game starts at 1:00pm. You will need to leave campus by 11:00am to travel by T to the TD Garden. Expect to return to campus around 5:00pm. Unfortunately, if you are a voting delegate, participating in APO LEADS, planning on participating in the officer roundtables, or attending the business meetings, you will be unable to participate in this service project. There is a limit of 2 brothers per chapter for this service.

BANQUET LOCATION & ATTIRE

  • Banquet will be held off campus at St. Joseph’s Preparatory High School. Keeping with the Boston location and the fact that historical Plymouth, home to the first Thanksgiving is a short drive away, the banquet committee has secured a full Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings for our dinner.  A vegetarian option will be offered upon request.  Banquet attire is semi-formal.  There is parking available on-site for the banquet portion of the evening.  This is an alcohol and smoke-free location as it is still an active school, so we need to be respectful of their expectations of us as well.  St. Joseph's is accessible by the 57 bus or GPS by using the address below.
